Details

This 11x14” watercolor was painted on the Sonoma Coast years ago somewhere between Salmon Creek and Goat Rock. I added layers to melt the far off hills into the distance and strong lines to celebrate the details that spoke to me and bring the foreground forward. I am so grateful to have grown up near this breathtaking coastline. I have spent countless hours dazzled by the tide pools, playing in the freezing cold water, looking for abalone shells and other hidden treasures and so much more.
