Details

It was almost 2am, when I have normally been asleep for hours, but I was on a stage with an empty canvas in front of me and about an hour to go. I had just completed my first live painting and was super happy but also struggling to stay awake. So I turned to this new canvas and let creativity flow through my brush. No expectations except to keep myself from longing for my bed. I don’t normally use Acrylic paint, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of color and the swift drying time allowed me to build stark contrast quickly. It was a great feeling to not be thinking at all while I worked and the end result brings me a little more joy every time I look at it. I see celestial bodies and a celebration of the movement between them.
